We commit when you start. That's what the deposit is for.

Half at order, through Stripe. The balance is invoiced when the guitar is finished and set up, before it ships.

If you cancel a commission, we hold back the deposit. If we decline the build, it comes back in full.

You may request changes to your build spec within 7 days of placing your order, as long as work has not started or materials have not been ordered. we will keep you informed as the build progresses.

If you wish to cancel your order before work begins, we will retain part of your payment to cover design time and non-refundable material costs. This will be confirmed with you in writing.

Once work has started, cancellations are generally not accepted, and any payments made are non-refundable.

Typical build time is 12 to 16 weeks from the date your deposit is received. If it is going to be longer, we will tell you, with a new estimate.

Paid in full at order, through Stripe. It ships within the week, insured, by UPS.

A stock guitar is a distance sale, so the 14-day right to cancel applies. Tell us within 14 days of delivery, send it back in the case it came in, insured, within 14 days of that, and the price is refunded within 14 days of it arriving. Return shipping is yours. The bespoke-vs-distance-selling check is Pete's, before this goes live.

Every price on this site is one plain number in pounds. We are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged and none is shown.

Cards through Stripe's own checkout page. We never see your card number. No PayPal.

As on the shipping and returns page: tell us within 30 days of delivery, with photos, and if it's a defect in the making we'll repair it or refund it.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The version on this page at the time you place your order will apply to your purchase.
