Sgt. Fuzzy's 'Double F' (AC128 version)

£225.00

This isn't just a pedal; it’s a time machine.
And to be brutally honest… Im not trying to reinvent the wheel here, nor claim this is something new… it’s not! Its just me being faithful to a classic circuit using the best components I can and tuning it by ear to get the best tones I can possibly get!

Hand-wired on vintage-spec tagboard using a curated selection of New Old Stock components, this Fuzz was built to react to your touch. From glass-like cleans to a saturated roar, we’ve preserved that legendary circuit that defined an era.

This variant is the ‘AC128’ version using the genuine NOS transistors, warm, creamy and smooth, in my humble opinion the AC128s are the warmest of the classic Ge variants, softer clipping than the OC41, incredibly dynamic and responsive to your touch — also cleans up incredibly when rolling back guitar volume and allegedly used in the earliest UK made Fuzz Faces in the generation prior to the fabled NKT275s.

These will be a ltd in number. I will be producing 5 pedals with differing transistors at a time so sign up to the mailing list for an early warning of availability prior to each run going live!
