Imagine if you will a Telecaster born in the 40s... thicker, much thicker and hollow bodied with a walnut top for the jazz cats, shelac’d to a glasslike finish, lost but found again in a pawnshop in the 50s, lovingly repainted in Shoreline Gold, changing hands over and over again, looked after but worn away by years of use, put away as the fashions changed then finally found again as an concept, a heritage of musical ideas….
